SELECTION
When processing each batch of wood, Hoppings production staff grade out pieces deemed not fit for purpose. Our machining facilities allow for sub-standard material to be rejected prior to entering our moulding machines. This feature of Hoppings manufacturing processes is particularly relevant to the supply of our competitively priced set piece trade packs of planed and mouldings, Q-Pack’s. Unlike the majority of our competitors, products in Q-Pack form also go through the same selection process ensuring quality isn’t compromised at the expense of price.
HIGH PRESSURE TREATMENT
At our Epping site we have a treatment plant and bunded covered drying area where we high pressure treat our timber to the Use Class requirement needed for its expected use.

For quality assurance we have robust testing in place to ensure the consistency of our treatment.

STOCKS
We hold a very similar and substantial stock of finished goods at both our Epping and Lingfield depots. We find this gives us flexibility and the ability to provide our customers with what they want when they want it especially in and around London.

FLEXIBLE ORDERING
We specialise in being able to break bulk in most products providing merchants who struggle for storage space with a flexible just in time stock service. We can also supply most products in bulk packs if required.

PROMPT DELIVERY SERVICE
We would normally expect to deliver your order within 48 hours. The minimum carriage paid order value for delivery is £600 and by prior agreement we can provide direct to site deliveries.
As a general principle our Lingfield depot services customers across the south east corner of the country, south of the Thames and west to Poole . Our Epping depot services customers north of the Thames and beyond.
Our first class delivery service consists of two fleets of ten tonne trucks, mainly flat bed, some with crane off-load facilities, and some curtain sided.

NATIONAL DELIVERY SERVICE
In the regions beyond the reach of our regular contract fleet of lorries we offer a weekly delivery service. (ie order be-fore noon on Friday and we will deliver by the following Friday). Minimum order quantities apply.
SALES SUPPORT
Hoppings put a huge amount of effort in driving sales lead enquiries to our network of brand retail stockists. This is performed in a number of ways such as consumer and trade advertising, product directories, public relations exercises, our brand specific websites and product directory type websites that target the commercial/large residential sector.
Consumers are re-directed to our retail partners on a daily basis. Telephone enquiries are managed by the Hoppings telesales team who, in principle link enquiries with the nearest brand stockist. Sales enquiries sent in via one of our many digital website forms are handled in the same way. Consumers can also raise enquiries directly with stockists via our brand specific websites where contact information and website links are actively promoted
