About Us

Hoppings Softwood Products is an un-quoted public limited Company. We specialise in the importation, manufacture, distribution and branding of quality and sustainable softwood products.  We operate from two sites, both just North and South of London.

Hoppings became an Incorporated Co. in 1930 but it was first established back in 1920 in Whetstone, North London. Today, we employ over 60 staff at our sites in:-

Our core customers are timber and builders merchants and our continued focus is to supply quality softwood products at competitive prices to them. Our ability to meet the quality, price and service expectation of our customers stems from our historic and continued investment in manufacturing infrastructure coupled with the desire to build long term trading relationships with both them and suppliers alike.

We were one of the first timber importers to gain ‘volume credit’ FSC Chain of custody accreditation and actively promote the use of sustainably sourced wood. Respect for the environment is an essential part of our business and for this reason we are committed to a robust environmental purchasing policy.

 Over the last 10 years and for our customers benefit, we have branded our machined product ranges as a confirmation of quality. Our customers and consumers have come to rely more and more on the features and assurance these brands and the associated support provides.
